As well as soaking up the action on the silver screen, be sure to enjoy some food and drink from the nearby vendors. Each venue is BYO (except for Brisbane – no BYO alcohol allowed) and there are various ticket packages to choose from. General admission ranges between $15-$20, depending on the state, and can go up to gold class and platinum (available in some states). For a special treat that doesn’t break the bank, try the Connoisseur Lounge ticket which includes a bean bag to lay on and one Connoisseur Ice Cream.

Now, without further ado, here is the line up:

Christmas Flicks

Jingle away this jolly season with Moonlight’s eclectic selection of Christmas flicks. Think romantic comedies like Last Christmas, starring Emilia Clarke as a disillusioned department store worker who unwittingly falls head over heels for the unlikeliest of suitors. Or the cult classics like Home Alone and Die Hard. Yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie!

Moonlight’s fan favourite program will also screen two of the biggest Christmas blockbusters ever, Love Actually and Elf.

Fan Favourites

Moonlight’s fan favourites are also back, voted for by popular demand. Catch the iconic date night flick Dirty Dancing, megahit musical The Greatest Showman and 20th-year-anniversary screenings of the mind-bending classic The Matrix.

Family Films

Celebrate under the stars with the whole family at one of Moonlight’s coolest kid-friendly films. There is Frozen 2, which sees the beloved original cast reunite on an wild journey to find the origin of Elsa’s powers and save their kingdom. We also can’t forget Jumanji: The Next Level, chronicling the gang’s return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own and escape the world’s most dangerous game. And, of course, the best cartoon movie of all time: The Lion King.

Must See Blockbusters

From action-packed blockbusters to critically acclaimed award contenders – Moonlight returns with a plethora of must-see summer films. Witness Joaquin Phoenix’s universally acclaimed portrayal of the iconic Batman villain in the chilling story of Joker. Then, solve a dramatic murder mystery along with an all-star cast in the new whodunit, Knives Out. This new release features Daniel Craig, Chris Evans and Aussie favourites Toni Collette and Katherine Langford.

On top of this are the films based on true stories. First up is Ford v Ferrari, starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, and shares the revolutionary story of Ford’s first race car. Next is Bombshell, starring Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron. It explores the explosive true story of the women who brought down Fox News head Roger Ailes and the toxic environment he presided over at the network.

Moonlight Cinema is your ultimate escape from reality while offering some much-needed chill time for you and your friends and family.
